Media Registration

We encourage you to pre-register so we may update you with current events, features, and exhibitor information in advance of the show. Media badges are not mailed in advance. Pre-registered media members need only to provide a business card and photo i.d. to pick-up your show badges in the Press Room at the Sands Expo & Convention Center during show hours.

To pre-register, fax us a completed pre-registration form and the following credentials for each member of your media outlet by June 2, 2008:

  • Business card
  • Publication masthead or organization directory with your name listed or article reprint with your byline
  • Intended story content and/or previous coverage


Onsite Media members can register with credentials described above in the Press Room at the Sands Expo & Convention Center during show hours.

dmg world media is launching two shows in partnership with the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA) – the SGMA Team Sports Show and the SGMA Sports Licensing Show. Both shows are scheduled to take place June 9-11, 2008 at the Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The SGMA Team Sports Show will feature manufacturers of team sports apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, and will draw team distributors and authentic team retailers from across North America. The SGMA Licensing Show product will include professional and collegiate sports licensed products including apparel, home accessories, gifts and memorabilia. Together, the shows are projected to offer 700 booths.

“Energetic trade events are integral to the sporting goods market and we couldn't have found a better organizer to create the kind of buying show our industry membership deserves," said SGMA President/CEO Tom Cove.

The partnership for these dmg world media-owned shows will see dmg world media managing the sales, marketing and operational aspects; while SGMA will be responsible for producing the educational program the runs alongside the shows. SGMA will hand over production of the former SGMA Spring Market Show and will endorse the new dmg world media shows as the key buying events for their industry.

“The decision to re-launch the SGMA Spring Market as two independent events was based upon market research conducted both by SGMA and dmg world media,” explained Show Director Lori Kisner.

The two new shows will be managed by the dmg world media team that produces the twice-annual Surf Expo in Orlando. Now in its 32nd year, Surf Expo is the largest boardsports trade show in the U.S. and  consistently ranks in Tradeshow Week’s Top 200.
